As well as publishing innovative books, CHEERIO also partners on existing ideas and commissions new projects from a wealth of innovative filmmakers.

The films we have worked on up to now cover a range of subjects – from Holly Blakey’s beautifully choreographed dance in Triptych (2022), the swirling dreamscapes of The Microcosm (2022) by Joe Ingham, to the compelling true-crime detailed in Joe Fletcher’s The Lady in the Lake (2023).

CHEERIO has worked to support young and up-and-coming filmmakers, such as Gabriel B. Arrahnio (The Devil Inside Me, 2023) and more to be announced, via a short film fund.

Like our publishing, CHEERIO creates boundary-pushing films that are here to intrigue, disturb, and thrill.
